COMMUNITY CARE

Whether you are a family member, a friend, or a care provider to a new mother, this series is open to you!

There will always be a mother in need of a little more support and love.

Closing of the Bones ceremony offers a moment of deep rest, pause, communication with the self, and gentle, yet effective, body care.

To be able to show up with this tool as best you can it is important that each student make the commitment to attend all three months.

* If group classes are missed, students can schedule up to two private sessions with Aleja on a case by case basis.

Each class is held at the private residence of instructor, Aleja Grajeda. Location will be disclosed once registration is complete

Workshop Series Details:

Students must be able to commit to attending at least two in person group classes. 

If you need to miss one it must be made up by March 24, 2026

Each student is encouraged to schedule one private session with Aleja Grajeda, and practice at least twice with their integration buddy between November and February.

Location: Private location in Albuquerque

All students must arrive 5-10 min early before 10 am class begins.

We will officially break at 11:30 for 20 min, but other bio breaks are at the discretion of the students.

Tea and light refreshments will be served but a pack lunch is encouraged.

Come in comfortable, warm attire, ready to move and receive the closing.

Monthly Curriculum:

Nov 29: In person 3 hour in person group class which includes an opening ceremony, lecture, a demo, time to practice together, and 1 hr for herbal remedy crafting. 

Dec 27: In person 3 hour in person group class which includes a lecture, a demo, time to practice together, and 1 hr for traditional food discussions and cooking/tasting.

Jan 24: In person 3 hour in person group class which includes a lecture, a demo, time to practice together, and 1 hr for the Closing ceremony and group integration conversation on bringing the practice to our respective communities.

Payments:

Early Bird: $250

After Nov 10: $300

Payments plans are available and based on the needs and capabilities of each student. 

One scholarship is available but has already been allotted.

One partial scholarship is still available (half off regular price). Inquire with Aleja to apply.

THE FIRST OR FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BY NOV 29.
